Manekharka Health Centre inauguration

The chief guests of the ceremony Dr. Ram Kantha Makaju Shrestha, Mr. Heri Wirth, Ms Gabriela Scheffel  prayed alongside the priest

Manekharka Health Centre is located in Thangpalkot village development committee of Sindhupalchowk district. The health centre was established in 1982 by the Family Planning Association of Nepal to provide family planning services. The health centre was then handed over to Dhulikhel Hospital in 2010 for further development and growth of services. With the generous financial support of Mr. Alfons Doblinger a new health post building close to the old one could be constructed.
The centre was officially inaugurated on the 2nd of April, 2013. The chief guests for the ceremony included the Vice-Chancellor of Kathmandu University and the Director of Dhulikhel Hospital, Dr. Ram Kantha Makaju Shrestha, Mr. Heri Wirth ( " Water for the World ", Germany ) and the daughter of Mr. Doblinger, Ms. Gabriela Scheffel. Dr. Neumaier ( radiologist , Germany ) provided the financial means to equip the health post.
