Research Project Coordinator

Qualification and Required Competencies:

1.Nepalese Citizen with

a.MPH with at least 3 years of experience in relevant research work

b.MD Community Medicine with at least 2 year experience in relevant subject 

2.Have involved in either national or international research project

3.Sound knowledge and experience of research, methodology and analysis, information gathering system

4.Excellent communication skills and digital literacy

5.Committed to invest the required time and willing to work beyond office hour whenever required

6.Good command in scientific writings

Responsibilities:

1.Coordinate the research project as per the instruction from PI and Co-PI

2.Conduct all research activities, training programs,  and workshops in coordination with the investigators

3.Manage the overall project

4.Monitor, evaluate and ensure the correct implementation of the project

5.Guide and support the local staffs in the health centers of districts of Dhulikhel Hospital

Research Assistant

Qualification and Required Competencies:

Nepalese Citizen with Bachelor in Public Health, Human Biology or equivalent degree with field experience

Preference will be given to those who have prior similar research exposure

3.Have conducted research in Nepal

4.Excellent communication skills and digital literacy

5.Committed to invest the required time and willing to work beyond office hour whenever required

Responsibilities:

1.Household visit for data collection

2.Tablet based data collection and sample collection

3.Development of study tools, pilot testing, coordinating with the software team

4.The research assistant will be responsible for the data management in coordination with the project coordinator

Laboratory Technician

Qualification and Required Competencies:

1.Nepalese Citizen with Bachelor in Laboratory medicine or medical laboratory technology or equivalent degree with field experience

2.Good Skill on laboratory work

4.Have conducted research in Nepal

5.Excellent communication skills and digital literacy

6.Committed to invest the required time and willing to work beyond office hour whenever required

7.Knowledge of research and information gathering system and method

Preference will be given to those who have prior similar research exposure

Responsibilities:

1.Tablet based data collection and sample collection

2.Development of study tools, pilot testing, coordinating with the software team

3.Laboratory Technician will be responsible for the lab data management in coordination with the project coordinator

Data Manager

Qualification and Required Competencies:

1.Nepalese Citizen with Bachelor in Computer science or Informational Technology or equivalent degree with relevant

2.Excellent knowledge in data management, data security and data backup system

3.Committed to invest the required time and willing to work beyond office hour whenever required

Responsibilities:

1.Manage tablet based data collection

2.Address any technical issues raised during data collection

3.Work closely with project coordinator/ project Director for data management system.
